Seat Mounting:

Porsche 911's, Boxster's, and Cayman's (1999-Current):

All Porsche 911's, Boxster's, and Cayman's (1999-Current) use the same bolt pattern for the floor pan. To put it simply our aftermarket seat mounting solutions are interchangeable between these models.

Step 1: Your first decision to make is whether you want to have the convenience of sliders or the safety and feel of mounting directly to the floor. This step with determine the fit, feel, and saftey of your entire seat step up. We always recommend mounting the seat to the floor in a fixed position for several reasons. #1 and most important is safety, clearly when you have less moving parts there is less that can go wrong. The Rigidity that comes with mounting to the floor also adds feeling and give the driver a more "connected" feeling to the car. Mounting to the floor also allows for the seat to be mounted in the lowest possible position. This is useful to get your weight lower in the car which can help stabilize the car, and add more leg or helmet room for taller drivers. However despite all the good things we have to say about mounting to the floor, it is really tough to beat the convenience of having sliders.

Step 2: The next decision is if you are going to need to make is if you want 5 or 6 point harness in addition to your stock belts. Aftermarket harnesses should ONLY be used with fixed back bucket seats with the corrects harness pass through. The only exception to this is factory folding seats with the correct harness pass through that have been tested and built for aftermarket belts.
